Registration
Registrations to SMC 2009 are now CLOSED.
Remember that, for each paper/poster/music piece, at least one author must be registered for the conference by Monday 8th June. If none of the authors is registered by this date, the paper/poster/music piece will be removed from the conference proceedings and programme.
(This note is only for authors of regular paper/poster/music pieces, not for participants to inspirational sessions.)
Full and Student registrations to the conference include:
- Attendance to all paper sessions, posters, inspirational sessions, invited speeches
- Attendance to all concerts
- mid-morning and mid-afternoon coffee breaks (6 in total)
- 3 meals
- 1 ticket for the conference banquet and social events
- A delegate bag including an electronic version and a hardcopy of the conference proceedings, among other things...
1-day registration includes:
- Attendance to all paper sessions, posters, inspirational sessions and invited speech of that day
- Attendance to that day's concerts
- mid-morning and mid-afternoon coffee breaks (2 in total)
- 1 meal
- A delegate bag including an electronic version and a hardcopy of the conference proceedings, among other things...
Full-pass registration includes:
- Everything from Student registration
- Assistance to Tutorials
- Participation to Summer School
This option is only for students accepted to the Summer School. Providing a proof of enrollment at a School or University is mandatory. DO NOT register to the Summer School nor proceed to the Full-pass registration before having received an email of acceptation (application to the summer school are now closed).

(*) You must provide proof of your student status to get the student discount (NB: Post-doc are not eligible for student rates).

Traveling and Accomodation
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
A number of hotels propose special rates for participants to SMC 2009. You can contact them directly through this list. Reservation must mention the reference "SMC 2009 - 6th Sound and Music Computing Conference" for special rates.
