SMC-15 Summerschool: 26th - 29th July
Sound Design for Media and enabling Audio Technologies
The Summer School of the SMC Conference will take place from Sunday 26th July to Wednesday 29th July. The theme of the Summer School is Sound Design for Media and enabling Audio Technologies. The program for the summer school is to have a mix of workshops and lectures from both industry and academia. The aim is to broaden the skills palette and hands-on technical skills of the participants.
If you are:
- enrolled in a MA/MSc/PhD program in computer science, music & media technology, or engineering,
- are fascinated about sound design and technological development and want to learn under the guidance of expert instructors and tutors,
- can perceive the value of interdisciplinary knowledge for developing your skills and finding insights that will inform and drive your research work,
To apply for a place on the summerschool email a Curriculum Vitae and a letter of interest that clearly indicates your motivation and previous experience with music technology research by Wednesday July 1st, 2015.
A maximum of 20 selected participants will be notified by Monday July 6th, 2015.
The cost of attending the summer school, including lectures, training sessions, laboratory material, lunches and coffee breaks is €200. All applications and inquiries can be directed to the SMC Summer School Chair:
